Service to others is one of the core purposes of Chi Phi Fraternity. While the National Philanthropy of the Fraternity is the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Tau Zeta is involved in many areas of services. We raise money for various organizations in addition to hands-on community service. The Tau Zeta Chapter has participated in many various philanthropies hosted by different fraternities and sororities on campus, such as Alpha Phi's "Jail & Bail," Delta Gamma's "Anchor Splash," and Gamma Phi Beta's "Beauty and the Greek." Our goal is to help support their causes by getting involved in the on-campus activities they organize.
Our biggest events of the year are the "Chi Phi Haunted House" in the Fall, and "Pie a Chi Phi" in the Spring. This semester, we're doing a new event with Kappa Delta called "BU Madness." Hosting philanthropy events is important to us because it allows us to get involved on campus and with other Greek Organizations, raise money for a good cause, and have a fun as a Brotherhood.
